报告题目：Semiclassical computational methods for quantum dynamics with band-crossing and uncertainty
报告人：金石教授 （上海交通大学数学学院教授、上海交通大学自然研究院院长）
摘要：Band-crossing is a quantum dynamical behavior that contributes to important physics and chemistry phenomena such as quantum tunneling, Berry connection, chemical reaction etc. In this talk, we will discuss some recent works in developing semiclassical methods for band-crossing in surface hopping. For such systems we will also introduce an "asymptotic-preserving" method that is accurate uniformly for all wave numbers, including the problem with random uncertain band gaps.
报告人简介：金石，美国威斯康星大学数学系正教授，上海交通大学数学系系主任，红杉遐安讲席教授、博士生导师。现任上海交通大学自然研究院院长。
1983年金石本科毕业于北京大学数学系；1991年于美国亚利桑那大学获得应用数学博士学位；1991年进入纽约大学柯朗数学研究博士后。2000年以来为美国威斯康星大学数学系正教授；2001年获中国科学院冯康科学计算奖；2002年获中国自然科学基金委杰出青年基金（B类）；2007年获第四届世界华人数学家大会晨兴数学奖银奖；2007年获University of Wisconsin-Madison数学系的Van Vleck杰出研究奖；2011年6月起任上海交通大学数学系系主任。2018年9月国际数学家大会上作45分钟特邀报告。
金石教授在计算流体力学，动力学方程，双曲型守恒律方程，高频波计算，计算物理和多尺度问题的计算方法等领域发表了百余篇SCI论文。金石教授是International Press杂志Communications in Mathematical Sciences的创刊主编及现任主编；并担任过SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing，SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics等八个国际著名计算数学杂志和应用数学杂志的编委。
