报告题目1： From the AM-GM inequality to volumes of singularities

摘要：I will first discuss a generalization of the Arithmetic Mean-Geometric Mean (AM-GM) inequality to an inequality in convex geometry. Then I will explain how this inequality is related to the study of Ricci-flat Kähler cone metrics and also to a new theory of volumes of log terminal singularities.
主讲人简介：
李驰，2000年至2007年就读于北京大学数学科学学院，获学士及硕士学位。此后赴美学习，于2012年获得普林斯顿大学博士学位，现为普渡大学助理教授。他的研究方向是复微分几何、复代数几何、几何分析。尤其是关于 Kähler-Einstein 度量相关问题及其应用的研究方面有许多杰出的工作，与许晨阳合作共同证明了田刚关于Fano代数簇的K-稳定性的两个定义的等价性的猜想。在Ann. of Math.，Duke Math. J.，Adv. Math.等国际著名期刊上发表学术论文10余篇。获得2017年度斯隆研究奖（Sloan Research Fellowships）。
报告题目2： Mathematica l approaches to the BCOV's holomorphic anomaly

摘要：During the last two decades, it has been a central problem to compute the Gromov-Witten (GW) invariants of Calabi-Yau threefolds, in both geometry and physics. In this talk, we will discuss the recent mathematical approaches to the all genera Gromov-Witten potential functions of the quintic threefolds. We will also discuss about the possible generalization of our method.

郭帅，北京大学数学学院副教授。入选“万人计划"青年拔尖人才"，2019年"求是杰出青年学者奖"获得者。主要从事镜像对称和高亏格Gromov-Witten不变量的研究。在最近的工作中，与张怀良-李骏-李卫平以及Felix Janda-阮勇斌两个团队合作，证明了关于紧致Calabi-Yau三维流形全亏格镜像对称和高亏格Gromov-Witten不变量的一系列结构性猜想，解决了该领域20多年来悬而未解的核心问题之一。

摘要：Log Fano manifolds are generalizations of Fano manifolds. The conic Kahler-Einstein metrics are canonical metrics on Log Fano manifolds. I will talk about the existence of conic Kähler-Einstein metrics on log K-polystable Log Fano manifolds.
