On the morning of December 17th, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE) and the Yuanyang County People's Government held a collaboration meeting and signing ceremony in Room 506 of Zhiyuan Building. The signing ceremony was attended by Yu Nutao, member of the University Party Committee and Vice President of YUFE; Xiong Wanhe, member of the Standing Committee of the Yuanyang County Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department; and Lu Shunxiang, Deputy County Mayor of Yuanyang.

Yu Nutao stated that YUFE is committed to cultivating talent in the field of finance and economics and serving local economic and social development. He emphasized that this collaboration with the Yuanyang County People's Government is a significant measure for the university to deepen social service and expand cooperative areas. YUFE, he added, will fully leverage its disciplinary advantages to establish a communication bridge between the university and the Yuanyang County government, serve as a think tank, and provide talent and intellectual support for Yuanyang's economic and social development. He expressed confidence that through the joint efforts of both parties, fruitful results would be achieved in talent development, social service, and industrial advancement.

Xiong Wanhe provided a detailed overview of Yuanyang County’s economic development. Yuanyang County possesses abundant natural resources and a unique ethnic culture. In recent years, under the strong leadership of the County Party Committee and Government, the entire county has united and worked industriously, achieving significant progress in economic and social development. Facing the development requirements of the new era, Yuanyang County still needs to continuously strengthen cooperation and exchange with the outside world, introduce advanced development concepts and technologies, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the economy and society. He expressed hope that this cooperation with YUFE could leverage the university's professional strengths and talent advantages to empower rural revitalization and inject new vitality into Yuanyang's economic and social development.

Lu Shunxiang, on behalf of the Yuanyang County Government, expressed sincere gratitude for YUFE's support and assistance. He pledged to make every effort to promote the implementation of collaborative projects and ensure the practical effectiveness of the cooperation.

Huo Jiajun, Director of the Admissions and Career Development Center, presided over the meeting and signed the cooperation framework agreement with Lu Shunxiang on behalf of both parties.

The signing ceremony was also attended by relevant leaders from the university's Science and Technology Department, School of Economics, School of Tourism and Hotel Management, School of Logistics and Management Engineering, Business School, and the Institute of Land Resources and Sustainable Development.
