From June 17th to 20th, the 3rd Provincial Emergency First Aid Skills Competition, hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Red Cross, was held at the Haiou Hotel. The event brought together 17 elite teams from across Yunnan's 16 prefectures, cities, and various industry units to compete and showcase their life-saving expertise.

A dedicated team of volunteers from YUFE's Accounting/Audit School provided comprehensive support throughout the event, playing a crucial role in its smooth operation.

Over the four-day competition, the volunteers managed a wide range of tasks. Their responsibilities included organizing materials, setting up venue signage, and calibrating first-aid simulation equipment. They provided end-to-end support for participants, handling everything from registration and event guidance to technical assistance. Behind the scenes, they ensured the competition ran seamlessly by replenishing first-aid supplies and changing out simulation mannequins as needed.

"This experience showed us the profound importance of the 'golden four minutes' of emergency care," one volunteer remarked. "We are applying the management skills we learn in the classroom to develop the practical ability to save lives."

Looking ahead, the YUFE Red Cross volunteer team plans to continue its active involvement in public service events, embodying the sense of responsibility and commitment of today's youth.
