From March 1st to March 7th, Paul d’AZEMAR, International Department Manager of Vatel International Business School Hotel & Tourism Management (France), visited our university to conduct an evaluation and inspection of the Sino-French Vatel cooperation project.

On March 7th, the two parties held a symposium, at which they conducted in-depth exchanges on the operation of the Sino-French Vatel cooperation project, and exchanged opinions and suggestions on further deepening pragmatic cooperation between China and France and promoting the high-quality development of the project.

Yan Ming, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University, expressed a sincere welcome and gratitude to the French side on behalf of the University. He stated that the opinions and suggestions put forward by the French side during this visit were objective, pertinent, and targeted. The University will transform the evaluation opinions into concrete measures to improve the quality of the Sino-French Vatel cooperation project, and will continue to exert efforts in areas such as internship practice, talent training program development, and international exchanges, so as to continuously enhance the influence, attractiveness, and radiation of the Sino-French Vatel cooperation project, and make new contributions to cultivating high-quality talents with a global vision and a world perspective.

Paul d’AZEMAR expressed his gratitude for the University’s warm reception, affirmed the achievements made by the two parties in jointly building the Sino-French Vatel cooperation project, and provided feedback on the evaluation and inspection regarding internship practice, curriculum setting, international exchanges, and teacher training.

During the visit, Paul d’AZEMAR and his delegation held exchange seminars with teachers and students of the Sino-French Vatel cooperation project, held a lecture for project students on the theme of “Vatel Values,” and conducted on-site visits to off-campus internship practice bases according to the work arrangement to inspect the internship and training of project students.
