On the morning of September 4, 2025, a grand graduation and degree awarding ceremony was held for the Class of 2025 from the joint Master's degree program between Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE) and the University of Greenwich, UK. The event took place in the International Auditorium of the International Business School.

YUFE Vice President Li Zhengbiao and Professor Ahmed Mohamed from the University of Greenwich's Faculty of Engineering and Science delivered speeches on behalf of their respective universities. All graduating students of the Sino-British Master's program were in attendance and were awarded Master of Science degrees.

In his address, Vice President Li Zhengbiao reflected on the program's successful history, which spans more than two decades, and highly commended the dedication of both the British and Chinese teaching and administrative teams. He encouraged the graduates to continue upholding the YUFE motto, "Studious and Steadfast, Virtuous and Visionary," and to carry forward the YUFE spirit of "Forever Advancing, First to Dare" in their professional lives. "We wish you prosperous careers," he said, "and hope that you will strengthen your connection with your alma mater, share the experiences of your personal growth and success, and support the university's future development."
Professor Ahmed Mohamed of the University of Greenwich extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduates on their achievements and expressed sincere gratitude for the efforts of all supervisors, lecturers, and the management team.

He shared stories of outstanding alumni, highlighted recent accolades achieved by the University of Greenwich, and offered guidance for the graduates' future paths.

Zhang Ranhao, the representative for the graduating Class of 2025, reflected on his academic journey, which blended Chinese and Western educational styles. He thanked both universities for providing an international educational platform and outstanding faculty. He shared the academic achievements and camaraderie forged through all-English instruction and collaborative teamwork, and he extended his best wishes to his alma mater, his teachers, and all his fellow graduates.
To conclude the ceremony, Vice President Li Zhengbiao and Professor Ahmed Mohamed jointly presented the degree certificates to the 2025 graduates and posed for a commemorative photograph.
The ceremony was also attended by members of the University of Greenwich delegation, Deputy Dean of the YUFE Graduate School Xiao Bin, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office Zhang Jing, as well as leaders, faculty, and supervisors from cooperating departments and the International Business School.
