Professor Wei Yu's Paper Selected as a “Most Influential Paper” of 2025 by China Management Science

Professor Wei Yu of the School of Finance has received a significant academic honor. His paper, titled "Research on the Asymmetric Impact of Infectious Disease Uncertainty on Commodity Futures Price Volatility," for which he served as the corresponding author, was selected as a 2025 "Most Influential Paper" by the prestigious journal China Management Science.The award, one of only 40 presented, was announced during the 27th China Management Science Academic Annual Conference, which was held recently in Harbin in conjunction with the 2025 annual meeting of the China Society for Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic Mathematics (CUMCM).

China Management Science is recognized as a T1-level journal in the FMS list of High-Quality Journals in Management Science and is designated as a Grade A key journal by the Management Science Division of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).The selection for the "Most Influential Paper" award is conducted by the journal's editorial department. It is based on a comprehensive analysis of citation counts, download statistics from public databases and the journal's website, supplemented by qualitative expert reviews.
