The Ministry of Education has announced the results for the third batch of National-level First-class Undergraduate Courses, with 11 courses from Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE) selected for the prestigious designation.

The recognized courses include nine offline (in-person) courses, one hybrid course, and one virtual simulation experimental teaching course. This achievement places YUFE third among all undergraduate universities in Yunnan Province and 11th among finance and economics universities nationwide.

The 11 selected courses are offered by nine different schools, spanning a wide range of disciplines including economics, management, law, languages, journalism and communication, and tourism. This outcome highlights the leading role of the university's signature disciplines in finance and economics, fully demonstrating the quality and standard of its undergraduate curriculum development and its successful exploration of interdisciplinary synergy.

In recent years, YUFE has continuously strengthened its undergraduate curriculum, focusing on enhancing teaching quality and encouraging faculty to reform their teaching methods and embrace innovative tools. The university has actively promoted the digital and intelligent transformation of education, effectively improving the level of instruction and laying a solid foundation for curriculum enhancement.

Moving forward, the university will use these national-level courses as a benchmark to further intensify the development of digital and intelligent courses, improve its curriculum resource system, and promote the creation of more high-level programs.
