From December 5 to 7, the 2025 Tengchong Scientists Forum was held in Tengchong City. Chen Hong, Secretary of the University Party Committee, led a delegation to participate in the forum, attending the opening ceremony and the University Presidents' Forum.

As a supporting unit for the "Innovative Development Forum on Residential Tourism and Integrated Medical-Health-Wellness," our university actively participated in the forum's preparation and organization. Vice President Yu Nutao presided over the business matching session for the transformation of research findings in residential tourism and integrated medical-health-wellness. The School of Tourism and Hotel Management, together with 32 units from across the country, co-initiated the "Smart Union for Innovative Development of Integrated Medical-Health-Wellness and Residential Tourism." A service team composed of Dean Yan Xiong, faculty members Pu Wei and Ban Xianhai, and students from the school provided organizational support throughout the forum.

Pu Zhaobin, Deputy Director of the General Office, Jin Jie, Deputy Director of the Division of Science & Technology Administration, and Zhu Xiaohui, Dean of the Institute of Tourism and Cultural Industries, attended the forum.
