From November 27 to 29, the 2025 Annual Meeting of the National Finance and Economics Universities Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance and the finals of the 10th National Finance and Economics Universities Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held at Nanjing University of Finance and Economics. This year’s event attracted 331 teams and over 3,000 faculty and students from 46 universities nationwide. After intense competition, 9 teams from our university won awards—including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 6 third prizes—ranking our university among the top participants.

The competition featured three tracks: Entrepreneurship, Creative Ideas, and Public Welfare. Our university had three teams qualify for the finals, covering all tracks and making us one of the universities with the most finalists. Specifically, the team led by Chen Qian and Wu Yuezhuo won a national First Prize for their project "Qingyuan Sujing—Portable Water Purification Device for the Golden 72-Hour Post-Disaster Rescue." The team of Dong Ye and Zhao Qiuman ("Xieguo Shijie—Smart Orchard Assistant Based on Multimodal Vision and Autonomous Path Planning") and the team of Yang Huan and Pu Mengjiao ("Zhencui Zhima—Smart Cultivation and Precision Processing for Hemp Industry Innovation") both won Second Prizes. Another six teams received Third Prizes for projects covering emergency rescue, smart agriculture, and industrial innovation.

In recent years, the university has continuously advanced the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, building an integrated platform of "teaching-practice-incubation-competition." The "Yun Cai" Makerspace provides full-cycle cultivation services—ranging from topic refinement and resource matching to practical drills—to help students enhance their innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities.

This competition was coordinated by the Admissions and Career Development Center (Innovation and Entrepreneurship College), with collaborative support from the Office of Academic Affairs and the University Youth League Committee.
