The 2025 Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championship was held in Shanghai from October 24 to 27. As one of the elite teams representing the China Student Sports Federation, our university’s high-level men's basketball team was invited to compete and ultimately achieved an impressive 6th-place finish, fully demonstrating the youthful energy and competitive spirit of YUFE athletes.

The event was jointly hosted by the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF), the China Student Sports Federation (CSSF), the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and the Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau. Adhering to the concept of "integrating sports with industry and competition with exhibition," the tournament was designed as an international sporting event that combined high-level competition with cultural exchange.

During the group stage, the YUFE team fought hard and defeated the National University of Malaysia and Xiamen University, advancing to the second-round knockout stage as the runner-up of the group. In the knockout matches, the team continued its momentum by defeating the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, making a historic entry into the top eight in Asia and writing a new chapter for the university's basketball program. In the final ranking match, the team relied on excellent execution and tenacious defense to defeat the strong National Chengchi University.

Off the court, the team also focused on ideological growth. The players were organized to visit the Shanghai Sihang Warehouse War Memorial Hall and the Memorial of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Through these "red study" activities, the athletes revisited the history of the revolution and drew inspiration for future endeavors from the echoes of the past.
