The university held an Undergraduate Education Teaching Assessment Promotion Meeting on the morning of March 7 to ensure high-quality preparation for the upcoming undergraduate education evaluation. The meeting was chaired by Kuang Jinyun, Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President.

Vice President Kuang Jinyun explained the evaluation timeline and emphasized that all university units must unify their thinking, build consensus, and approach the inspection work with high spirits and enthusiasm to successfully complete the undergraduate education teaching assessment tasks.
Vice President Kuang outlined five key requirements:
1. Enhance Understanding and Implementation
Units must thoroughly address improvements based on the “Yunnan University of Finance and Economics Undergraduate Education Teaching Diagnostic Evaluation Improvement Plan” and the expert panel’s feedback, ensuring systematic verification and completion of all corrective measures.
2. Recognize Urgency
Given the tight schedule and heavy workload, all units must work backwards from the “Assessment Work Schedule,” maintaining a countdown mindset to ensure timely and precise completion of all tasks.
3. Coordinate Collective Action
Department heads must personally lead efforts, ensuring quality completion of all tasks on schedule. Faculty should take ownership of the evaluation process, and students should actively support the university’s “Three Entries and One Exit” initiative, maintaining proper classroom etiquette and dormitory hygiene to showcase the positive spirit of YUFE students.
4. Focus on Key Areas
Units must ensure supporting materials are complete and standardized. They should strengthen foundational materials, conduct “Outstanding Lesson” teaching activities, implement comprehensive classroom observations, organize regular teaching group activities, enhance classroom monitoring and management, and effectively communicate “YUFE’s Story.”
5. Strengthen Accountability
Academic and administrative leaders must personally mobilize, organize, and supervise, establishing clear responsibility systems at all levels. Performance in the evaluation process will be a key factor in year-end assessments, testing each party member, cadre, and staff member’s ideological quality, work style, and practical capabilities.
Pan Xuedong, Executive Deputy Director of the Center for Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation (Course Evaluation Center), detailed the work tasks, timelines, and assignments in the “Assessment Work Schedule.”
The meeting was attended by heads of functional departments, research institutes, logistics groups, and asset management companies, along with academic unit deans, associate deans for academic affairs, and all staff from the Center for Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation.
