On March 5, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE) and Ping An Life Insurance Yunnan Branch held a ceremony at the Lingyun Building International Academic Hall to inaugurate their school-enterprise cooperation. Both parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement and jointly launched the “Insurance Health Care Consultant” talent training program. Shi Zhongjun, Deputy Party Secretary of YUFE, and Huang Zitao, Party Secretary and General Manager of Ping An Life Insurance Yunnan Branch, jointly unveiled the “Talent Training Base” plaque.

In his speech, Shi Zhongjun stated that the cooperation with Ping An Life Insurance Yunnan Branch represents a significant step in YUFE’s efforts to deepen industry-education integration and promote school-enterprise collaborative education. He expressed confidence that through joint efforts, both parties will provide superior educational resources and practical opportunities for insurance professionals, laying a solid foundation for students’ career development.

Huang Zitao emphasized that as a leading global Chinese financial brand, Ping An Life Insurance remains committed to serving the public through finance. The cooperation will leverage YUFE’s academic support to cultivate healthcare service professionals with both professional expertise and practical capabilities through systematic training and joint cultivation programs.

Based on the agreement, both parties will develop in-depth cooperation in curriculum development, internships, and research collaboration, establishing an “academic + industry” dual-driven model to help students transition seamlessly from theoretical study to professional development.
