Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the results of the 2025 Tianyuan Mathematics Foundation projects. The project "Tame n-slice Algebras," applied for by Dr. Hu Yanping from the School of Statistics and Mathematics, was successfully approved. To date, our university has been granted a total of 23 NSFC projects for the year 2025.

The Tianyuan Mathematics Foundation of the NSFC is a special fund established to consolidate the collective wisdom of mathematicians, explore funding methods that align with the characteristics and laws of mathematical development, and promote the building of a strong nation in mathematics. The Tianyuan Mathematics Youth Project specifically supports young scholars in conducting research in mathematics and its applications.
