On November 27, the training program for the Second Regional Audit Office of Northern Laos of the State Audit Organization of Laos, hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Audit Office and organized by our university, successfully concluded. Attendees of the closing ceremony included Xie Jian, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Yunnan Provincial Audit Office; Lynamachak Intha, Director of the Second Regional Audit Office of Northern Laos; and Yan Ming, Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President. Fu Yunkun, Deputy Director of the Provincial Audit Office, presided over the ceremony.

Xie Jian pointed out that this training is a vivid practice of the China-Laos "Four Goods" spirit (good neighbors, friends, comrades, and partners) within the auditing field, laying a solid foundation for normalized cooperation. As the construction of the China-Laos Economic Corridor advances, the prospects for cooperation in auditing are vast. He expressed hope that this training would serve as an opportunity to deepen government auditing exchanges and jointly safeguard the achievements of cross-border cooperative development.

Lynamachak Intha stated that the training program organized by the Yunnan Provincial Audit Office and Yunnan University of Finance and Economics provided Lao participants with essential auditing knowledge and experience, which is of great significance to Lao auditing practices and bilateral cooperation. He praised the high level of professionalism shown by the hosts and organizers, affirming that the participants from the Northern Laos audit authorities would effectively apply what they learned to their work and strive to strengthen their auditing capacity.

The three-day training program was closely tailored to the actual needs of Lao auditing work. Leveraging the university's academic strengths, a specialized curriculum was established covering core topics such as tax auditing, rectification of auditing issues, and auditing of national investment projects and state-owned assets. The program utilized classroom discussions, experience sharing, and practical exchanges to ensure both theoretical depth and practical value.
