From October 29 to November 1, the 26th China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education (CACIE) was held at the Beijing National Convention Center. During the conference, the 2025 list of universities passing the Quality Accreditation for International Students in China was announced, and our university successfully passed the accreditation. Vice President Yan Ming led a delegation to attend the Symposium on High-quality Development of Chinese-Foreign Cooperative Education.

The Quality Accreditation for International Students in China is an evaluation activity guided by the Ministry of Education and implemented by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE). Through professional review, it certifies that the international education quality of higher education institutions meets national benchmarks, providing a comprehensive assessment of whether the university's teaching and management levels for international students align with recognized quality standards.

Our university attaches great importance to international student education, closely aligning with President Xi Jinping's "Three Positionings" for Yunnan. Focusing on the construction of the "Radiation Center facing South and Southeast Asia" and the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road Initiative," the university has developed a distinctive cultivation model for international students. Passing this accreditation signifies that the university's international student education has reached national quality standards in terms of its cultivation system, curriculum construction, and service guarantees.

CACIE, hosted annually by CEAIE since 2000, is China’s largest platform for educational cooperation and exchange and one of Asia’s most influential comprehensive international education events. This year’s conference, themed "Education for the World," focused on cutting-edge topics such as educational internationalization, digital transformation, and global talent cultivation. More than 5,000 education professionals from over 70 countries and regions attended the event.

Attendees from the university included Zhang Honglie, Dean of the International Business School; Liu Lifang, Vice Dean of the International Business School; Pan Xuedong, Dean of the School of Overseas Education; and Zhang Jing, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office.
